Our Commitment

The Cotswolds Way is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of our platform may have limitations:

  • infoInteractive map: The Mapbox-powered trail map may have limited screen reader support. We provide alternative text-based accommodation listings on the search page.
  • infoThird-party content: Some embedded content from accommodation providers may not meet our accessibility standards.
  • infoPDF downloads: Some downloadable documents may not be fully accessible. Contact us for alternative formats.

Trail Accessibility

The Cotswolds Way National Trail includes terrain that presents physical accessibility challenges. Important information for visitors with mobility requirements:
